On 20 May 2022, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, held a discussion with Mr. Park Dong-sun, Vice President, Balanced Regional Development Division of the Korea Land & House Corporation (LH), South Korea’s government-owned corporation responsible for the development of land, and the maintenance and management of land and housing. Both sides exchanged views regarding LH’s businesses in the areas of construction and management of residential buildings, development of smart cities, as well as the current status of real estate supply in South Korea, opportunities for Thailand’s construction materials and possible cooperation with Thailand. Ambassador also followed up on LH’s joint venture project with Amata Corporation to establish a Korean Smart City Zone in Thailand’s Chonburi Province, which Mr. Park updated on LH’s current feasibility study of the said project.
