On 16 May 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy, delivered congratulatory remarks on KTO’s appointment of Thai Michelin Star-restaurant owner “Jay Fai” as the Honorary Ambassador of 2023-2024 Korea-Thailand Mutual Visit Years, which will help promote Thai-ROK relations through Jay Fai’s signature Nongshim ramyun recipe.
Minister Bancha suggested Nongshim to launch Jay Fai’s Shin Ramyun for sale in the ROK market, and also sought KTO’s cooperation in ensuring a smooth process for Thai tourists with K-ETA to enter the ROK.
