On 20 May 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, congratulated Mr. Lee Jae Yoo, Commissioner of the Korea Immigration Service, for successfully organising the 17th Together Day Commemorative Ceremony and met with high-level officers of the Korea Immigration Service, requesting cooperation in reducing the number of Thai nationals who were refusing to enter the ROK despite getting K-ETA approval.
