Minister has a meeting with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency’s representatives (KDCA)

On 3 May 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/ Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, had a meeting with Mr. Kim Youngi, Scientific Officer from the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), and his delegation. Both sides discussed Thailand - Republic of Korea public health cooperation and exchanged experiences in providing assistance to Thai nationals residing in the ROK during the COVID-19 outbreak. Minister Bancha expressed his sincere appreciation to the KDCA for providing the COVID-19 vaccination to all Thai nationals residing in the ROK.
In addition, Mr. Kim Yong Ki introduced the Global Health Security RUSH Outreach Programme, which is an initiative project by the Global Health Security Coordination Office (GHSCO), aiming to improve post-pandemic preparedness and strengthen health security by cooperating with the embassies of various countries located in the Republic of Korea, including the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul.
