On 10 November 2022, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva attended the 2nd Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Critical Foreign Language Ambassador Forum (HUFS CFL) at Aekyung Hall, HUFS in Seoul, which was organized to promote foreign language and cultural studies among Korean students and general public. A total of
13 ambassadors and representatives of the embassies in the Republic of Korea attended this forum and gave a briefing on the opportunity and importance of learning the national language of each country.
In this regard, Ambassador gave an overview on the relations between Thailand and the ROK since establishment of the diplomatic relations in 1958 and how the cooperation between the two sides has expanded to multifaceted dimensions over the years, particularly in economic, cultural, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges. The growing cooperation will lead to increasing demand and job opportunities for Thai language and culture experts in related fields.
