On 7 September 2022, H.E. Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva welcomed a courtesy call by Superintendent General Park Jae-Hwa, Director General for International Affairs and Intelligence, Korea Coast Guard, who was accompanied by Superintendent Lim Jintaek, Deputy Director for International Cooperation Team, and Mr. Choi Yongho, Officer in charge of cooperation with Thailand. On this occasion, the Ambassador was briefed on Korea Coast Guard’s organization and missions. Both sides also exchanged views on possible cooperation in such areas as information sharing on illegal migration and drug trafficking, as well as organizing training and exchange programs for operational officers.
