On 7 September 2022, H.E. Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva hosted a welcoming dinner for General Sanitchanog Sangkachantra, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Defence, and his delegation, during their visit to the Republic of Korea to participate in the ROK-ASEAN Defence Vice-Ministerial Meeting and Seoul Defence Dialogue.

The Ambassador and the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Defence also took this opportunity to discuss and exchange their views on regional situations and key international issues, as well as developments in various areas of Thailand-ROK relations.
