On 2 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, presented the copy of his credentials to H.E. Mr. Kim Tae-jin, Deputy Minister for Protocol Affairs and Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the ROK at the Ministry which enabled him to effectively commence his ambassadorial duties.
On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on ways to further strengthen Thailand-ROK relations in all aspects. Ambassador Tanee expressed his determination to promote the exchange of high-level visits between the two countries, enhance bilateral trade and investment opportunities, exchange best practices on creative industries as well as improving consular services and assistance to Thai nationals residing in the ROK.
