We are introducing, for the first time in Korea, the history and art of Thailand—captivating yet still unfamiliar to us. Located at the heart of mainland Southeast Asia, Thailand has long been a crossroads where people and cultures from many regions met. Here, diverse ethnic cultures flourished in ancient times, and from the 13th century onward, kingdoms founded by the Thai people prospered. To this day, Thailand continues to create a distinctive culture centered on the monarchy and Buddhism. This exhibition presents 239 works of sculpture, painting, and crafts contributed by 21 national institutions across Thailand. Discover the charm of Thai art, which has shaped its own beauty over a long time with flexibility and openness.
