On 13 January 2026, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, gave a lecture on Thailand–Republic of Korea relations to 80 Korean middle and high school students , expressing a strong interest in pursuing further studies and careers in diplomacy and international relations, from various educational institutions participating in the Youth Ambassador Academy Winter Camp. Following the lecture, the students actively engaged in a Q&A session, raising a wide range of questions about Thailand, with particular interest in cultural cooperation and various dimensions of Thailand–Republic of Korea collaboration.
This programme is organised by the Korea Cultural Association as part of its social contribution initiatives. It aims to encourage secondary and high school students aspiring to pursue studies and careers in diplomacy and international affairs to develop their potential as future global leaders. The programme also provides opportunities for students from disadvantaged backgrounds to gain first-hand exposure and career perspectives from ambassadors, as well as to enhance their understanding through diverse cultural exchanges. Over the past decade, the programme has contributed to the success of a number of its participants in pursuing further studies and careers in international organisations and the diplomatic service.
