On 20 January 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs met with Mr. Yeo Han-koo, Trade Minister, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources of the Republic of Korea (ROK), on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, Switzerland.

Both sides agreed to accelerate promotion of trade and invest between the two countries, as well as, agreed to support conclusion of negotiations of the Thailand – ROK Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) at the earliest. The Foreign Minister also reaffirmed full support for Korean companies’ investment in Thailand.
