On 10 July 2022, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva welcomed the officials and students of the National Defense Course Class of 64 led by Major General Chawanakorn Phadungkit, Advisor to the National Defense College of Thailand. On this occasion, Ambassador gave a briefing on the ROK Government’s policies under the leadership of President Yoon Suk-yeol, and the implications for Thailand, and had a discussion with the delegates on the current socio-economic and international issues concerning the ROK and its relations with Thailand.

The delegation is scheduled to visit Seocho Smart Hub Center to learn about Seoul’s smart city system and Pangyo Techno Valley to learn about the development and management of a technology hub as part of their activities in the ROK between 10 – 14 July 2022.
