On July 22, 2022, Mr. Nattawut Srimhok "Golf F.Hero", rapper and Executive Director of High Cloud Entertainment Ltd., together with executives from Thai entertainment companies, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK. Thai officials of the Thai Embassy also participated in the meeting.

Both sides exchanged views on Thailand’s and South Korea’s soft power promotion strategy through contemporary entertainment media such as music or pop icons. Other topics of discussions include current and potential cooperation between Thai and Korean artists as well as possible cooperation between the Thai Embassy and Thai entertainment companies in organizing events to promote Thailand, its pop culture and entertainment businesses in South Korea.
