Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea Promotes Technology and Interdisciplinary Studies Cooperation between KAIST and Khon Kaen University

On 25 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, participated in discussions and witnessed the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Prof. Dr. Han Seung Hun, Dean of the Graduate School of Global Digital Innovation (GDI), Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Suntaree Buchitchon, Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University. The MOU aims to promote cooperation in education, research, and human resource development in AI technology between KAIST and Khon Kaen University.
On this occasion, Ambassador delivered congratulatory remarks on the signing of the MOU, attended the introduction session of the GDI and the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, and exchanged views on ways to promote future cooperation in technology and innovation, particularly in human resource development.
Ambassador met and exchanged views with Thai students who are studying at KAIST on ways to promote and encourage more Thai students from Khon Kaen University Demonstration School and other secondary schools in Thailand to pursue their studies at KAIST, as well as opportunities to further enhance cooperation in education and exchange programs for students and personnel between Thailand and the Republic of Korea.
