On 19 June 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK welcomed 65 members of the Thai youth volleyball team participating in the Volleyball Excellent Players project in the ROK with objective to promote and develop sports personnel and youth athletes to gain experience and potential that can be further developed into professional and national team athletes. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister of the Embassy and Mr. Krist Mekkriengkrai, head of consular section also presented in the event.

The Ambassador praised the achievements of Thai volleyball players who have continuously brought fame to the country and can compete at the global level and also hosted a luncheon for the Thai youth volleyball team.
