On 8 December 2023, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/Deputy Chief of mission of the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul participated in an Awards Ceremony for foreign residents in Seoul being selected to receive the title of Honorary Citizens from Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) in 2023, organized by SMG at Multupurpose Hall of Seoul City Hall.

On this occasion, Ms. Suphaporn was selected by SMG to receive a Certificate for this prestigious title from Mr. Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of Seoul for her significant contributions to the city’s development. Ms. Suphaporn is a Thai citizen from Kalasin Province. She has been living with her family in Seoul for 16 years. She has been recognized as a leader of a performance troupe namely, “Butter fly” for organizing dancing activities for persons with intellectual disabilities and for her community voluntary work as security officer.
