On 21 October 2021, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul attended the Award Ceremony of the Global IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities (GITC), co-organized by Ministry of Health and Welfare of ROK, LG Electronics and GITC Organizing Committee at Grand Bloom Hall, Glad Hotel in Seoul.  This event has been hosted by different countries since 2011 with the objective to reduce digital divide and realize the rights of youth with disabilities to ICT. There were around 400 youth with disabilities from 13 countries, including 38 youths from Thailand taking part in this competition.  A Thai contestant won Best Award eTool (Excel).
