On 28 April 2022, Mr. Richard Kim, Managing Director and General Manager of Lotte Hotel Seoul paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK on the occasion of Ambassador’s assumption of duty. Both sides were pleased with the close collaboration between the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, and Lotte Hotel Seoul over the years, particularly in receiving delegations from Thailand and arranging various events and international conferences together. They expressed hope that Thailand’s and the ROK’s decision to further ease travel restrictions will help revive tourism and air travel between the two countries and also contribute to both countries’ economic recovery. On this occasion, Ambassador expressed interest to expand cooperation with Lotte Group to other businesses of mutual interest such as retail and construction, which are also main business areas of Lotte Group.
