On 20 March 2025, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/DCM of the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, was invited to attend Medical Korea 2025 under the theme “AI-powered personalized Healthcare: integrating into daily lives”, co-organized by the Ministry of Health and welfare and Korea Health Industry Development Institute during 20-23 March 2025 at Seoul COEX. The opening ceremony was presided over by H.E.Mr. Minsoo Park, Vice Minister of Ministry of Health and Welfare of the ROK.

The Medical Korea 2025 is the 15th Global Healthcare & Medical Tourism Conference. For this year, the conference is specifically focusing on making use  of AI and digital technology in healthcare. Minister Bancha exchanged views with Ms. Jung Eunyoung, Director General of Bureau of Health Industry, Ministry of Health and Welfare of the ROK to foster medical cooperation under the existing MOU between Ministry of Public Health of Thailand and Ministry of Health and Welfare of the ROK by giving high importance on exchanging expertise between each other on organ transplantation, cancer control and making use of AI medical devices in healthcare. Minister Bancha also informed the said initiative to the Vice Minister Park during the luncheon.
