On May 12, 2026, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, attended the opening ceremony for the “Garden of Gratitude” organised by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Executives from the Seoul Metropolitan Governments and Ambassadors or representatives from 22 Korean War participating countries as well as Korean War veterans attended the ceremony.

The Garden of Gratitude serves as a tribute to the sacrifices made by veterans from 22 nations during the Korean War and serves as a powerful reminder of the shared commitment to preserving the values of freedom and lasting peace.
