On 30 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, was invited by the aSSITS University to give a special lecture on “Thailand’s competitiveness and opportunities for the Republic of Korea” at the National Assembly Building of the Republic of Korea.

The Ambassador presented an overview of Thailand’s strengths in attracting more trade and investment volume from the Republic of Korea, sharing insightful information on Korean investment during 2020-2024 and opportunities for the Republic of Korea to upgrade existing industries in Thailand and develop new industries, particularly in Thailand’s five strategic industries: bio-based and alternative energy, automotive (EVs), electronics, digital and creative, and regional headquarters and international business centers.
