On 14 January 2026, the Thai Lion Air held the inaugural ceremony of Incheon (South Korea) - Bangkok (Don Mueang) direct flight route at a Terminal 1, Incheon International Airport. H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, along with Patthanapong Pongtongcharoen, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Seoul Office, executives from the Thai Lion Air, and executives from the Incheon International Airport, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony as well as participated in the the distribution of welcome gifts to passengers of the inaugural flight.

The launching of  Incheon (South Korea) - Bangkok (Don Mueang) route marks Thai Lion Air's official entry into South Korean market. Thai Lion Air operates daily flights, aiming to enhance tourism and business exchange between South Korea and Thailand.
