On 8 August 2022, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva had a meeting with Mr. Hong Hyun-Ik, Chancellor of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) to learn about the organization and functions of KNDA, foreign service training institute affiliated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, and the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS), the research unit of KNDA. The two sides also exchanged ideas on how to promote cooperation and exchanges with Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA) and the International Studies Center (ISC) which are affiliated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Professor Choe Wongi, Head of the Center for ASEAN-India Studies of KNDA, and Mr. Kavi Chongkittavorn, currently a visiting fellow at KNDA, also participated in the meeting.
