On May 9-10, 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT/Seoul), participated in the Seoul Friendship Festival 2026 at DDP to promote Thailand's cultural identity through signature Thai food and beverages, culture and tourism. At the Festival, the Royal Thai Embassy, ​​in collaboration with Krua Thai Restaurant and Taste of Thailand, presented authentic Thai food and drinks in the World Food Zone while the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Seoul set up a tourism promotion booth. In addition, TAT/Seoul, with the support of the Thai Cultural Council of the Republic of Korea, organized activities for festival participants to try on "Chud Thai" (Thai traditional costumes), which received considerable interest.
