On 5 July 2023, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister, welcomed participants from the Global Leadership for Sustainable Development Program (Class 3), under the Fiscal Policy Research Institute of Thailand, led by Ms. Ratchada Vanichkorn, Director of the Tax Planning Office, during their study visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK) from 2 – 7 July 2023 to learn about the ROK’s strengths in developing local products for the global market. On this occasion, Minister Bancha delivered a presentation on the policies of the current ROK government, an overview of Thailand-ROK relations, the ROK’s soft power, and excise tax policies and measures implemented by the ROK.
