On 20 April 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, officials from Team Thailand agencies, and Thai community in the ROK, attended the "2025 Thai-Korea Women's Volleyball Super Match" to cheer for the Thai women's national volleyball team organized at the Hwaseong Town in Gyeonggi Province, to strengthen cooperation between the two nations through the sport.

The match attracted many volleyball fans from both countries and also featured mini-concerts by Thai and Korean artists, including Arm Chutima, POW, Brave Girls, Daybreak, and Jooha. Finally, the Thai national team defeated the ROK national team with a score of 3–1 sets

Before the match, Ambassador Tanee provided Thai lunchboxes and met Thai athletes to encourage them to perform to the best of their abilities and make both countries' fans proud. He also emphasized the significance of sports as a bridge connecting the people of the two nations. Ambassador Tanee also expressed appreciation to the athletes for their contribution in bringing pride to Thailand on this occasion.
